“Our Missing Host”
~~~Black Estate-Entrance Hall- 7:01 pm~~~
“Have you checked everywhere?” Mrs. Meadow-Brooke asks, rather dumbfounded.
“We checked all of the rooms on the first floor.” Professor Plum says, “We haven’t seen him since 2:30, when we arrived.” He says as Miss Peach opens the Billiard Room door.
“Uncle Al?” she calls. No response. She moves to the next door, the Studio and calls, still no response.
“Well he can’t be far.” Mrs. Peacock says putting a hand on Colonel Mustard’s shoulder.
“Maybe he went to the grocery.” Mrs. White throws out her suggestion.
“Not likely.” Mr. Boddy says, “I smell food. Did you check the Kitchen?”
“Yes.” Professor Plum says as Miss Peach enters the Conservatory
Miss Peach searches around the plants. The clear voices of Professor Plum and Mr. Boddy can be heard.
“What about the Pantry?” asks Mr. Boddy
“I told you we’ve checked every room on the first floor.” Professor Plum shouts, “Even the Stable! We were going to check upstairs, but you arrived!”
“Gentlemen!” Mrs. Peacock raises her voice over the rest of them, “There is no need to argue.”
Miss Peach continues milling about the large room, “Uncle Al?” she calls out.
She walks over to the far end of the room and looks out the window into the cool autumn night.
“Uncle Al, where are you?”
~~~Black Estate-Trophy Room- 7:10~~~
Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, and Mrs. Peacock come from the door leading to the Stable.
“Where could he be?” Colonel Mustard says, “Unless…” his voice trails off
“Don’t think that!” Mrs. White says
Professor Plum enters, “He’s not in the Kitchen.”
“Let’s check the Dining Room.” Mrs. Peacock says. She and Professor Plum leave.
“Where to?” asks Colonel Mustard
“I looked in the Studio.” Mrs. White says, “Empty! I looked in the Billiard Room, empty. Why not the Library.”\
“It’s worth a shot.” Colonel Mustard says, “But I have this gut feeling that we are being watched…”
~~~Black Estate-Dining Room- 7:15~~~
“That rich kid doesn’t even care about his uncle.” Professor Plum says to Mrs. Peacock as he closes the door, entering. Mrs. Peacock’s face goes pale.
“Was that there earlier?” she asks pointing to a large amount of blood on the floor.
“Oh my God!” Professor Plum gasps
Mrs. Peacock cautiously looks around the room, only to find another pool of blood.
“I don’t think it’s the blood from a chicken, or a turkey.” Professor Plum says, seeing a pair of Doctor Black’s glasses under the table…
~~~Peacock Residence-Foyer- 7:20~~~
Miss Scarlet closes the door in tears.
“Why?” she sobs, “Why!” she drops a blood covered carving knife onto the marble floor. Mr. Tenné watches from the Drawing Room doorway…
~~~Black Estate-Library Secret Passageway- 7:30~~~
A figure stands behind the bookcase in the secret passage. The figure watches Mrs. White and Colonel Mustard search around the room.
~~~Black Estate-Library-continuous~~~
Mrs. White points to the sliver platted letter opener, “I hope this isn’t what did the deed in the dining room.”
“No.” Colonel Mustard says, “A killer wouldn’t take the time to dispose of the body with out disposing of the weapon.”
“Unless we haven’t found the body yet.” Mrs. White says, tears forming in her eyes, “Who would want to kill Algernon?”
“We don’t know that Algernon is the victim. There is no body as evidence.” Colonel Mustard embraces the shaken Mrs. White.
~~~Black Estate-Master Bedroom- 7:35~~~
Mrs. Meadow-Brooke looks around, “Al, where are you.”
“He wouldn’t answer.” Professor Plum says entering. Mrs. Meadow-Brooke lets out a shriek.
“Stop saying that.” Mrs. Meadow-Brooke says, “He’s alive and I know it!”
“Jayne, there is no use pondering over the situation.” Professor Plum says, “Blood is all over the Dining Room rug, face it, someone killed Al, and dumped his body Heaven knows where!”
Mrs. Meadow-Brooke cries silently
“His body probably isn’t in this mansion.” Professor Plum says
“I hope not.” Mrs. Meadow-Brooke sighs
~~~Green Estate-Dining Room- 7:39~~~
Mr. Thallo Green sits at the head of the table. He is eating lobster. Forest sits at the other end of the table. Mr. Yale is sitting amongst the four new members, each eating as if under the best circumstances. Yale give a look at Forest, who in turn glances at his father, who stands up and raises his glass.
“Here, here.” He says, “I’d like to make a toast. New friends, a new building, more money, and great wine.”
Glasses clink together and everyone drinks.
Thallo sits back down and watches the new members with a coy look on his face.
“Mr. Green?” a woman asks, “Are you alright…” she grabs her throat in pain. Blood comes seeping in between her fingers. Two other members burst blood from there throats. The last one grabs his throat as he is too affected by the flesh-eating deadly poison they just swallowed.
“Mr. Yale, your arm!” Forest says
The woman next to him, who is gasping for a last breath, out of defense, poured her wine on his arm. Mr. Yale’s arm begins bleeding.
“Ah!” he shouts knocking the glass onto the dead woman’s lap.
Forest puts ice in his napkin and places it on the bleeding.
“Next time, you should sit across from our dinner guests.” Thallo smirks.
~~~Black Estate-Billiard Room-7:59~~~
Mrs. Peacock enters, “This is creepy, now we are looking for a corpse. I hope to God I don’t find it.”
Mrs. Peacock takes a look behind the bar. She screams as the clock strikes 8:00. Behind the bar is the wounded body of a man.
Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White and Mr. Boddy enter.
“It’s not Al!” Colonel Mustard says
“James!” Mrs. Peacock scream, “How could this be!”
